A human rights activist received a summons from Iranian Revolutionary Court

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): a Kurdish, human rights activist, from Mahabad, was summoned to Mahabad Revolutionary Court.
According to reliable sources, a Kurdish, human rights activist, Soran Mahmoodi, was summoned to Mahabad Revolutionary Court a few days ago.
His allegation has been stated as “providing assistance to victims of the recent massive earthquake in Kirmashan (Kermanshah) without coordination with authorities”.
Soran Mahmoodi was arrested by the intelligence forces on the same charge last year.
After Kirmashan was struck by a major earthquake, which measured 7.3 Richter scale, Kurdish citizens from all across the East Kurdistan (Rojhelat) started up different campaigns to offer assistance to the victims. The Political and human rights activists had encouraged people to set up those voluntary campaigns.
