"No Entry": Evin Abbasi, a Kurdish Photographer from Baneh, Reached the World's Top Photographers with This Work

August 10, 2026; Evin Abbasi, a Kurdish photographer from the city of Baneh, reached the final stage of one of the world's most prestigious international photography competitions with a work titled "No Entry," and her name was recorded among the top 41 photographers of this global contest. The LensCulture international competitions are held annually with the participation of the world's most prominent photographers, and this year, hundreds of thousands of photos from photographers across 124 countries and 5 continents competed in this event. After several rounds of judging, only 41 works managed to advance to the final stage (Finalist) of this prestigious event, with the work "No Entry" by Evin Abbasi placed among these selected works.
