Bukan; Mansour Ghaderzadeh, Yousef Amini, and Ali Shokri Transferred to Prison with 2 Billion Toman Bail Set for Temporary Release

June 29, 2026; Following more than two weeks of arbitrary detention, three Kurdish citizens and cultural activists from Bukan—identified as “Mansour Ghaderzadeh,” “Yousef Amini,” and “Ali Shokri”—have been transferred to Bukan Prison after completing their interrogations at an undisclosed security detention facility. A heavy bail of 2 billion Tomans has been set for each individual's temporary release.

An informed source confirmed the news to Kurdpa, stating: On Sunday, June 28, 2026, Mansour Ghaderzadeh, retired teacher Yousef Amini, and cultural activist Ali Shokri were transferred to the Central Prison of Bukan after being held in arbitrary detention and interrogated for 19, 16, and 13 days respectively. The judiciary has demanded a 2 billion Toman bail for each of them to secure temporary release.

To date, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrests or the formal charges leveled against these Kurdish citizens. Throughout their arbitrary detention, they were systematically denied access to legal counsel, telephone calls, and family visitations.

Wednesday, June 10, 2026: Mansour Ghaderzadeh, a 43-year-old father (son of Ahmad), originally from "Qaluy-e Zandan" village near Mahabad and a resident of the "Mirawa" neighborhood in Bukan, was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and taken to an unknown location.

Saturday, June 13, 2026: At 11:00 PM, Yousef Amini, a 50-year-old retired teacher from "Aliabad," Bukan, was arrested during a security raid on his home without a judicial warrant. This Kurdish citizen had previously been arbitrarily detained at a wedding ceremony simply for wearing matching traditional Kurdish clothing alongside a group of other attendees.

Tuesday, June 16, 2026: Ali Shokri, a Kurdish cultural activist from Bukan, was arrested after security forces raided his workplace without presenting a judicial warrant. He was initially transferred to a security detention facility in Urmia for interrogation.
