Miandoab; Arbitrary detention of Jamal Abdollahi and Behzad Abdi and transfer to an unknown location

February 11, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arbitrary arrests of Kurdish citizens, two citizens from "Miandoab" named “Jamal Abdollahi” and “Behzad Abdi” were arrested and transferred to an unknown location.

According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” at 3:00 AM on Monday, February 9, 2026, security forces raided the homes and arrested “Jamal Abdollahi” from the village of “Gug-Jalu” and “Behzad Abdi” from the village of “Gavmish-Goli” in the suburbs of "Miandoab" without presenting a judicial warrant.

This informed source added: Security forces also confiscated and took away the mobile phones of these two citizens and their family members.

Jamal Abdollahi, 41 years old, is married with two children, and Behzad Abdi, 25 years old, is married with one child.
