February 12, 2026; Following 31 days since the arbitrary detention of “Malek Khalafi,” a Kurdish youth from “Lumar” in the “Sirvan” district of “Ilam” province, there is still no news regarding his fate or place of detention, and his relatives are intensely worried about his situation.
According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” “Malek Khalafi” was arrested on January 13, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location; after 31 days, he remains in a state of absolute lack of communication.
During his period of detention, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family.
