February 8, 2026; Following 22 days since the arbitrary and violent detention of “Saadi Irani,” a Kurdish citizen from “Piranhehr,” he remains under interrogation at the IRGC (Revolutionary Guard) Intelligence detention center in “Urmia,” and his detention order has been extended for another 15 days.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Saadi Irani” was arrested in the early hours of January 18, 2026, during a raid by security forces on his home, without the presentation of a judicial warrant and in a violent manner. After 22 days, reports indicate the continuation of his arbitrary detention at the IRGC Intelligence detention center in “Urmia” and the extension of his detention for an additional 15 days.
It should be noted that during his detention, this Kurdish citizen has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family, a situation that has caused serious concern for his family.
