Bojnord Prison; 30 days of arbitrary detention and uncertainty for Amirreza Forouhar, a 20-year-old Kurdish youth

February 8, 2026; Following 30 days since the arbitrary detention of “Amirreza Forouhar,” a 20-year-old Kurmanj Kurdish youth from “Bojnord,” he continues to be held in a state of uncertainty in “Bojnord Prison” without any official notification, and his family is intensely worried about his life and fate.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Amirreza Forouhar” was arrested by security forces on January 10, 2026, without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location. On the very first day, he informed his family of his arrest during a short phone call and was transferred to “Bojnord Prison” after several days. However, since his transfer, he has remained in complete uncertainty and has been deprived of the right to any contact, visitation, or access to a lawyer.

The continuation of this absolute lack of information regarding the status of this Kurdish youth in “Bojnord Prison” has escalated serious concerns regarding his life and fate among his family and relatives.
