Arbitrary Detention and Lack of Information Regarding the Fate of Aida Koushki, Student and English Teacher
February 6, 2026; Following five days since the arbitrary detention of “Aida Koushki,” a Kurdish citizen from “Eslamabad-e Gharb” (“Shabad”) in “Kermanshah” province, who is a student and English teacher, there is still no information regarding her fate or place of detention.
“Aida Koushki” was arrested on Sunday, February 1, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location. Since the time of her arrest, no official information has been provided regarding her status, and her family has been deprived of any contact or news of her condition.
