Kermanshah; Amir-Hossein Moradi-Vafa, 22-Year-Old Kurdish Youth, Identity of Another Victim of January 8 Killed by a Sniper's Live Ammunition Fire to the Face

February 19, 2026; "Amir-Hossein Moradi-Vafa", a 22-year-old Kurdish youth from "Kermanshah", is the identity of another victim of the popular protests on January 8, 2026, in the neighborhood of "Kornachi" in Kermanshah, who was killed by live ammunition fire from an Islamic Republic government sniper to the face.

According to local sources, this 22-year-old was severely wounded due to a live bullet striking his face. People present at the scene attempted to stop the bleeding and transport him to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life; the bullet entered through his face and exited through his throat, and he passed away in the hospital as a result of the severity of his injuries.

His family was able to receive his body on January 10, 2026, and buried him in the "Kermanshah" cemetery.

"Amir-Hossein Moradi-Vafa" had lost his father at the age of six. Prior to his death, he was employed at a pharmaceutical distribution company, where he worked delivering medicine to surrounding villages.
