An informed source, while confirming the news, told Kurdpa: "Milad Ebrahimi", a 30-year-old athlete and massager from Kamyaran city, who was injured as a result of direct fire of live ammunition by the government forces of the Islamic Republic during the popular protests on January 8, 2026, in Kamyaran city, was detained on February 1, 2026, by security forces without a judicial warrant.

At the time of the arrest, his brother "Hamed Ebrahimi", who had protested Milad's detention, was also arrested, but was released after 6 days on a 6 billion bail.

"Milad Ebrahimi" was wounded in the back by a live bullet on the evening of January 8, 2026, during the popular protests in Kamyaran city, and underwent surgery after being transferred to a hospital in Sanandaj city. After being discharged and while spending his recovery period at home—and while he was scheduled to undergo surgery again due to body infection—he was detained by security forces and transferred to the detention center of the Intelligence Department of Sanandaj city.
