February 13, 2026; Following more than three months since the arbitrary detention of “Yaser Advaei,” a Kurdish youth from the city of “Sarvabad” in the suburbs of the city of “Mariwan,” there is still no information regarding his fate or condition, and this lack of news has caused intense concern for his family and relatives.

According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” “Yaser Advaei” was arrested on November 13, 2025, after being summoned to the Intelligence News Headquarters in the city of “Sarvabad,” without the presentation of a judicial warrant, and was transferred to an unknown location.

Until the publication of this news, no information has been released regarding the reasons for his detention, and security agencies have provided no explanation in this regard. During these three months, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family.

“Yaser Advaei” was previously arrested by Ministry of Intelligence forces in June 2020 and was released on bail after 45 days. In the autumn of that same year, he was sentenced to 5 years of prison on charges of “acting against national security” through cooperation with “one of the Kurdish parties,” a sentence that was reduced to 3 years by the appeals court. He was transferred to the prison of “Mariwan” in February 2021 to serve his sentence and was released after completing his term.

His father was also arrested in 2011 and served his sentence in the prison of “Mariwan.” Furthermore, his brother, “Kiumars Advaei,” has previously been arrested and interrogated by security forces.
