February 12, 2026; “Fatemeh Soltani,” a young Kurdish woman from the city of “Esfarayen” in the province of “North Khorasan” and a mother of two young children, is one of the victims of the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in the city of “Esfarayen,” who lost her life due to the direct firing of a live bullet by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

In her last Instagram story, she wrote: “Tonight I am going for the sake of my children, because they deserve to have a good life.”

Fatemeh Soltani was from the Kurmanj Kurds of the city of “Esfarayen” and was the mother of two young children, a 6-year-old daughter and an 11-month-old son.
