According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on the evening of Monday, January 5, 2026, “Fares (Mohsen) Aghamohammadi” lost his life due to the severity of his injuries after being hospitalized for three days in the intensive care unit of “Imam Khomeini” Hospital in Ilam.

Previously, Kurdpa had reported that “Fares (Mohsen) Aghamohammadi” was in critical condition with a consciousness level of 3 in the intensive care unit of “Imam Khomeini” Hospital in Ilam after being hit by a bullet in the head area.

On the header of this young Kurdish man's funeral announcement, the phrase “For what sin?” is inscribed, and the burial ceremony for this young Kurdish man is scheduled to be held on Tuesday afternoon, January 6, 2026, at the “Mazar-e Shohada” cemetery in Ilam.

“Fares (Mohsen) Aghamohammadi” was the son of Hashem and was single.

“Fares (Mohsen) Aghamohammadi” is the third victim of the popular protests in Malekshahi as a result of targeted shooting by the repressive forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). “Reza Azimzadeh” and “Mehdi Emamipour” had also previously lost their lives.
