October 20, 2026; Ahad Mihan-Khah, a 19-year-old Kurdish youth from Oshnavieh who was previously sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of this city to five years of discretionary imprisonment, was transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison to serve his sentence.

An informed source confirmed this news to Kurdpa, stating that on the evening of Monday, October 19, 2026, "Ahad Mihan-Khah" was transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison to execute his five-year discretionary imprisonment sentence. According to this report, the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court issued this sentence against him on the charge of "membership in or cooperation with a Kurdish opposition party."

Ahad Mihan-Khah was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant on January 24, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location. Following nearly a month of detention, he was temporarily released upon posting bail.

During his detention, this young Kurdish man was deprived of the right to access legal counsel as well as the right to family visits and phone contact with his family.
