Dehloran; Detention of 6 More Individuals, Including 3 Teenagers Aged 15 and 16

January 4, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arbitrary detentions of Kurdish citizens in Ilam province, aimed at imposing an atmosphere of suppression and security over society following the popular protests of January 2026, at least 6 more citizens, including 3 teenagers aged 15 and 16, were detained by security forces between January 1 and January 3, 2026, and transferred to an unknown location.

Informed sources of Kurdpa, while confirming these detentions, announced the names and details of the detained individuals as follows:

On Thursday, January 1, 2026, "Alireza Momeni", an 18-year-old student, was detained by security forces and transferred to Ilam.

On Friday, January 2, 2026, two 16-year-old teenagers named "Iliya Ghasemi" and "Reza Seifi" were detained and transferred to an unknown location in Ilam.

In the early hours of Saturday, January 3, 2026, "Sajjad Khorshidi", 30 years old, and "Abolfazl Saki", a 14-year-old teenager, were detained by security forces and transferred to Ilam.

Also, in the early hours of Saturday, January 3, 2026, "Salman Mardani", a Kurdish citizen from Dehloran, was detained and transferred to an unknown location following a raid by more than 20 security forces, without the presentation of a judicial warrant and accompanied by insults and disrespect toward the family.

According to this report, all these individuals were violently detained without the presentation of a judicial warrant during raids on their homes by security forces, and until the time of publication of this report, there is no information available regarding the status or place of detention for many of them.
