Bukan: Mohsen and Hossein Gardeshi Arrested by Security Forces
On the evening of Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Mohsen Gardeshi and Hossein Gardeshi, two brothers from Bukan, were arrested by security forces and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.
According to an informed source, security forces raided the workplace of Hossein Gardeshi on one of the streets of Bukan and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.
The informed source added: After arresting Hossein Gardeshi, security forces raided his family home, and after searching the house and insulting family members, they confiscated and took away some of his personal belongings.
The informed source stated: Simultaneously, security forces raided the home of Mohsen Gardeshi, Hossein's brother, and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.
Mohsen and Hossein Gardeshi were previously arrested by security forces in January 2021 during a wave of arrests of Kurdish activists.
Mohsen Gardeshi was released after several days of detention, and Hossein Gardeshi was transferred from the IRGC Intelligence detention center in Urmia to the central prison of that city on Saturday, February 13, 2021, following the completion of his interrogation. He was released on bail on Monday, March 8, 2021.
