January 31, 2026; “Saeed Kalvandi,” a 31-year-old Kurdish man from “Hamedan” and a resident of “Saveh,” is the identity of another victim of the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in “Saveh.” He lost his life due to a direct shot of live ammunition by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic to the thigh area, following severe bleeding and leg amputation.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; on the evening of January 8, 2026, around 9:00 PM, simultaneous with the bloody suppression of people by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic, “Saeed Kalvandi” became separated from his companions. After hours of searching, he was found in a critical condition due to severe bleeding after a live bullet had struck his thigh.

Upon transfer to the hospital, doctors announced that the bleeding was so severe that blood transfusions were ineffective, and his leg must be amputated to save his life. Hoping for recovery and to prevent the amputation, the family requested his transfer to “Tehran.” During this interval, Saeed regained consciousness for a few moments, spoke to his mother, and said “I am thirsty,” but then lost consciousness again.

On January 9, 2026, he was transferred to “Sina Hospital” in “Tehran” and admitted upon receipt of 200 million Tomans; the cost for each night of hospitalization was announced as 50 million Tomans. Doctors in “Tehran” also emphasized that the only way to stay alive was the amputation of the leg. The family agreed to this decision. The surgery continued until 4:00 AM and his leg was amputated, but Saeed did not regain consciousness and was transferred to dialysis.

Doctors announced the cause of death as a “heart attack,” but his body was immediately transferred to the morgue, and delivery to the family was refused. The body of “Saeed Kalvandi” was not delivered to the family until January 13, 2026.

Upon receiving the body, the family observed that his body had been fully autopsied; it was cut open from the abdomen to under the throat, and even the eyes had been stitched. This occurred while the official cause of death had been announced as a “heart attack.” Those who washed the body also stated that his body appeared as though his internal organs had been removed; a matter that has raised serious questions and ambiguities for the family.

Subsequently, security agencies did not permit the holding of a funeral ceremony in the mosque, and individuals who wept during the mourning ceremony were confronted. Saeed Kalvandi was eventually buried in “Saveh.”

Saeed Kalvandi, 31 years old, was married and the father of two daughters aged 7 and 4.
