January 31, 2026; “Farshid Shekarsokhan,” a 20-year-old Kurdish youth from “Eslamabad-e Gharb” (“Shabad”) in “Kermanshah” province, is the identity of another victim of the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in “Eslamabad-e Gharb.” He lost his life in the area of “Pasht-e Masjed-e Jameh” due to a direct shot of live ammunition to the head area by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated that Farshid Shekarsokhan was an undergraduate student, a wrestler, and the holder of several athletic medals. His body was buried on January 9, 2026, in the “Imamzadeh Hassan” cemetery.
