January 29, 2026; “Ashkan Bastar,” a 35-year-old Kurdish youth from Kermanshah and resident of Karaj, is the identity of another victim of the popular protests of January 9 in “Fardis,” Karaj, who was killed by a direct shot of live ammunition to the “forehead” by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

The body of “Ashkan Bastar” was buried on January 13, 2026, in Kermanshah, in the presence of family and relatives, accompanied by the sound of “Chamari” (a traditional Kurdish mourning melody) and his mother’s mourning dance at his grave.
