Mariwan; Mohammad Parvazeh Released on Bail After 67 Days of Arbitrary Detention

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Mohammad Parvazeh, a Kurdish citizen from the village of "Ney" in Mariwan, was temporarily released from the prison of this county after 67 days of arbitrary detention upon posting a bail of 500 million Tomans until the end of the judicial proceedings.

According to an informed source, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, this Kurdish citizen was transferred to Mariwan prison after the completion of interrogation phases at one of the security detention centers in Sanandaj.

Mr. Parvazeh was deprived of access to a lawyer and meetings with his family during the detention period.

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, security forces detained this citizen at the junction of "Ney" village without providing a judicial warrant.

This Kurdish citizen is married and has three children. Mohammad Parvazeh has a prior record of arrest and conviction.

Until now, no accurate information has been obtained regarding the reason for the arrest and the charges brought against Mr. Parvazeh.
