Bukan: Ayoub Rahmani Summoned, Phone Confiscated by Amaken Office, and Government Content Published on His Instagram
On Monday, September 29, 2025, Ayoub Rahmani, a 33-year-old Kurdish citizen from Bukan, was subjected to insults and interrogation after being summoned by the Miandoab Public Places Supervision Office (Amaken). Following the interrogation, his mobile phone was seized by security forces, and his Instagram account was compromised. Security forces used his account to publish insulting images and text against Kurdish leaders and content in support of the Islamic Republic.
According to an informed source who spoke to Kurdpa, Ayoub Rahmani—son of Rahman and a resident of Ebrahimabad village—was summoned to the Miandoab Amaken Office on the morning of September 29 without a judicial warrant. He was reportedly subjected to severe insults by the head of the department, identified as "Rahimi," before being released.
Despite his release, his mobile phone was confiscated without legal authorization. Security forces subsequently accessed his Instagram account and posted forced, offensive content, attempting to portray Mr. Rahmani as a government supporter.
The source added:
"Although Ayoub Rahmani was released after several hours, his mobile phone remains in the possession of security forces. As of the time of this report, they continue to control and publish content on his Instagram account."
To date, the Amaken Office has provided no explanation for the detention, the seizure of the phone, or the misuse of the social media account. No legal documentation was presented to Mr. Rahmani during the process.
Background on the Victim: Ayoub Rahmani is 33 years old and lives in Ebrahimabad in the Alashin region of Bukan.
