Sardasht; Azhwan Khezrian, Kurdish Civil Activist, Detained by Security Forces

Tuesday, January 20, 2026; “Azhwan Khezrian,” a Kurdish civil activist from the county of Sardasht, was detained by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” security forces detained this civil activist without presenting a judicial warrant.
The informed source added: Furthermore, security forces raided the “Sharko” internet cafe, which is owned by Azhwan Khezrian, and confiscated its equipment and took it with them.
