Salmas; Diyar Pourchehriq, One of the Victims of January 11 by Direct Gunfire in Punak, Tehran
January 12, 2026; “Diyar Pourchehriq,” son of Ali, 32 years old, from the village of “Patevir,” a suburb of Salmas, is the identity of another Kurdish citizen killed in “Punak,” Tehran, who was killed by the direct fire of repressive forces.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” said; “Diyar Pourchehriq,” who had recently purchased a car and gone to Tehran for passenger transport, lost his life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, during the popular protests in the “Punak” neighborhood of Tehran by direct gunfire from military-repressive forces.
“Diyar Pourchehriq,” son of Ali, 32 years old, single, was originally from the village of “Chehriq” and a resident of the village of “Patevir,” a suburb of Salmas.
Reports indicate that two other Kurdish youths from Salmas were also killed during the popular protests in Tehran by military-repressive forces, and “Kurdpa” is currently investigating their identities.
