Tehran; Ebrahim Ahmadpourian, Kurdish Citizen from Saqqez and Another Victim of January 8 in Tehran by Gunfire
January 12, 2026; “Ebrahim Ahmadpourian,” a Kurdish citizen from Saqqez and resident of Tehran, is the identity of another victim of the January 8, 2026 protests in Tehran which has been confirmed for “Kurdpa.”
According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” this Kurdish citizen was severely wounded by the fire of military-repressive forces during the popular protests of January 8, 2026, and died one day later, on January 9, 2026, due to the severity of his injuries in the hospital.
Ebrahim Ahmadpourian, son of Omar and Khadijeh, father of two children and a middle-aged Kurdish citizen, was originally from the village of “Sheykhleh,” a suburb of Saqqez, and resided and worked in Tehran.
On January 9, 2026, “Kurdpa” had confirmed the news of his death in Tehran by publishing information.
