Marivan: Continued Detention and Lack of Information on the Whereabouts of Mohammad Parvazeh

Despite three weeks having passed since the arrest of Mohammad Parvazeh, a Kurdish citizen from the village of “Ney” in Marivan, there is still no accurate information about his fate or whereabouts.

According to an informed source, during his detention he has been denied access to a lawyer and family visits.

The source added that the family’s efforts to obtain information about his fate and place of detention have been unsuccessful.

The source stated that the lack of news regarding Mr. Parvazeh’s situation has caused deep concern among his family and relatives.

On July 23, 2025 (Wednesday), security forces arrested this citizen without presenting a judicial warrant at the three-way junction near the village of Ney.

This Kurdish citizen is married and has three children. Mohammad Parvazeh has a prior history of arrest and conviction.

So far, no clear information has been obtained regarding the reason for his arrest or the charges against him.
