Baneh Border: Bahram Mik, 35-Year-Old Kolbar, Injured by Military Forces’ Gunfire and Transferred to Saqqez Hospital

At dawn on July 29, 2025, military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened fire on a Kurdish kolbar (border porter) named Bahram Mik in the border area of “Nannur” in Baneh. As a result of this shooting, he was seriously injured and transferred to Saqqez Hospital.
Sources informed Kurdpa that military forces fired on Bahram Mik without any prior warning. At the time of the shooting, this kolbar was carrying no goods.
Bahram Mik, 35, is married with two children (a daughter and a son). He is originally from the village of Mik in the Sarshiv District of Saqqez County and currently resides in Tarkhanabad, Baneh.
Following the shooting, due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to Saqqez Hospital.
