Mariwan: Arbitrary Arrest of Hamzeh Osmani, Abdullah Bakhah, Omid Bakhah, and Ramyar Rezaei

On Sunday, June 28, 2025, four Kurdish citizens from Daranakhi village, a rural area of Mariwan, were arbitrarily arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to a reliable source who spoke to Kurdpa, the four individuals—Hamzeh Osmani (24, son of Asaad), Abdullah Bakhah (35), Omid Bakhah (30, both sons of Ali), and Ramyar Rezaei (25, son of Farough)—were arrested at 5:00 a.m. following a raid by security forces from the Sarvabad Intelligence Office. The arrests were carried out at their homes without judicial warrants.
The source added that security forces searched their homes and confiscated several personal belongings without presenting any court order.
It was also reported that Omid and Abdullah Bakhah are brothers. During the arrest of Hamzeh Osmani, his brother Ahsan Osmani protested against the actions of the security forces and was briefly detained before being released a few hours later.
According to the source, none of the arrested individuals had any prior criminal or judicial record and were all employed as manual laborers.
