Khoy: Violent Arrest and Enforced Disappearance of Amin Sadouei by Security Forces

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a Kurdish civilian named Amin Sadouei, a resident of Tarimish village in the Qatur district of Khoy County, was violently arrested by Iranian security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to a reliable source, dozens of security agents detained Sadouei without presenting a judicial warrant at a checkpoint on the road from Salmas to Khoy. The arrest was reportedly accompanied by severe violence and verbal abuse.
The source added that during the arrest, Sadouei was subjected to severe physical assault by the arresting agents.
The same source reported that efforts by Sadouei’s family to obtain information about his whereabouts and legal status have so far been unsuccessful. His family has expressed grave concern for his safety due to the violent nature of his detention.
Amin Sadouei, aged 43, is the son of Fazi.
