Urmia: Jalal Faraji and Rojin Khoran Arrested by Security Forces

On the evening of Monday, May 26, 2025, Jalal Faraji and Rojin Khoran, two Kurdish citizens from Ziveh Township, located in the Margavar district of Urmia, were arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to a reliable source, the security forces raided their family homes without presenting any judicial warrant and took both individuals into custody.

The same source added that following the arrest, security agents were seen patrolling the Margavar region, suggesting a broader security operation.

Family members have made several attempts to locate the two detainees, but their inquiries have so far yielded no results.

Following the Nowruz (Persian New Year) celebrations of 1404 (March 2025) in Urmia, Jalal Faraji and his two nieces, Rojin and Rana Khoran, had previously been summoned by security agencies.
