Death Sentences of Rahim Amiri and Amir Ebrahimi Carried Out in Karaj Central Prison

In the early hours of Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the executions of two prisoners, Rahim Amiri and Amir Ebrahimi, both from Harsin County in Kermanshah Province, were carried out at Karaj Central Prison.

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, both men had been transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for the implementation of their death sentences.

Rahim Amiri had been arrested approximately seven years ago, and

Amir Ebrahimi six years ago,
in separate cases involving drug-related offenses. Both were sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

As of the time of this report, Iranian state authorities and domestic media have not officially announced their executions.
