Yousef Esmaeili, a Prisoner from Sardasht, Executed in Bandar Abbas Prison

In the early hours of Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the execution sentence for Yousef Esmaeili, a prisoner from the city of Sardasht, was carried out at the Central Prison of Bandar Abbas.
This Kurdish prisoner had been arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary.
Yousef Esmaeili was married and the father of two children.
As of now, no official bodies or domestic media outlets in Iran have reported the news of his execution.
