Mashallah Karami’s Sentence Reduced to 3 Years and 7 Months After Sentence Consolidation

Following the consolidation of sentences in two separate cases, Mashallah Karami, father of Mohammad Mehdi (Kumar) Karami, a protester executed during the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) uprising, has had his total prison sentence reduced to 3 years and 7 months.
Attorney Ali Sharifzadeh Ardakani announced the update on his X (formerly Twitter) page, stating:
“With the consolidation of all prison sentences across Mashallah Karami’s two cases, his total imprisonment is now 3 years and 7 months. Since he has served over half of this sentence, a request for conditional release has been submitted to judicial authorities. We hope, upon approval, he will be freed and reunited with his family.”
