Oshnavieh: Rashid Faqizadeh Temporarily Released on Bail

On Sunday, May 18, 2025, a Kurdish citizen named Rashid Faqizadeh, from Oshnavieh, was temporarily released from the city’s prison after posting bail of one billion tomans (approximately USD 17,000).

He had been transferred to Oshnavieh Prison after completing interrogation and was denied access to legal counsel during his detention.

In the early morning of Wednesday, May 7, 2025, security forces raided his home without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.
