Moshir Osmandzadeh Executed in Urmia Central Prison

In the early hours of Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Moshir Osmandzadeh, who had previously been convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Urmia Central Prison.
On the morning of Monday, May 12, 2025, he had been transferred from Ward 4 of Urmia Central Prison to solitary confinement in preparation for execution.
The Kurdish prisoner had been arrested approximately four years ago on charges of premeditated murder, and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary.
Moshir Osmandzadeh, son of Taher (Fariq), was a resident of Urmia.
As of now, Iranian state media and official sources have not reported the execution.
