Mahabad: Ali Daneshi Arrested Again by Security Forces

In the early hours of Friday, May 8, 2025, a Kurdish citizen named Ali Daneshi, a resident of Mahabad, was once again arrested by security forces using violence and was taken to an undisclosed location.

According to a reliable source, this arrest was carried out without a judicial warrant and involved the use of force.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Ali Daneshi was temporarily released from Mahabad Prison after posting a bail of 2 billion tomans.

Mr. Daneshi had been transferred to Mahabad Prison on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, after completing his interrogation at the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center.

In the early hours of Thursday, July 11, 2024, security forces raided his home without presenting a court order and arrested him.
