Execution of Yadgar Rahimnejad, a prisoner from Baneh, carried out in Kerman Prison

In the early hours of Tuesday, April 14, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Yadgar Rahimnejad, a native of Baneh, was carried out at Kerman Central Prison.

According to a reliable source, the execution was carried out after he had his final visit with his family.

The source added that Yadgar Rahimnejad was arrested two years ago on charges related to drug offenses, and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

Yadgar Rahimnejad, son of Mohammad, was married and the father of two children.

As of now, no official Iranian authorities or domestic media outlets have reported on his execution.
