Urmia: Kurdish Civilian Mohammad Hosseinzadeh Killed by Government Forces’ Gunfire

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, a Kurdish civilian identified as Mohammad (Mamad) Hosseinzadeh, son of Sadeq, was shot and killed by government forces in Tarziloo township, located in the city of Urmia, West Azerbaijan province.
According to a reliable source, government agents opened fire on Hosseinzadeh’s vehicle without prior warning.
The source added that the forces allegedly suspected the victim of carrying smuggled goods and fired directly at his car based on that assumption.
Mohammad Hosseinzadeh was originally from the village of Qeshlaq-e Tarziloo, a rural area near Urmia.
