Shooting of government soldiers at a group of porters on the Nowsud border and injuring at least 21 Kolbars (porters)

On February 25, 2024, government soldiers shot a group of Kolbars (porters) on the Nowsud border with a barrage of bullets and injured at least 21 Kolbars.

An informed source told Kurdpa the identity of some of these Kolbars as "Mobin Kermi from Sanandaj, Behnam (last name unknown), Kaveh (last name unknown) from Marivan, Foad Feizi from the village of Hashmiz in Sanandaj, Milad (last name unknown) and Farzad Rostami".

According to an informed source, government soldiers shot these Kolbars directly without prior warning and these porters were injured in the back, head, hand, face, and leg.

The informed source added: The injured Kolbars were transferred to medical centers for treatment.
