The number of executed prisoners in Urmia prison increased to two

According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at dawn on February 1, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner named "Hossein Habibi" was carried out in Urmia Central Prison. With the addition of this prisoner, the number of executed prisoners on this day increased to two.

This prisoner had previously been arrested and then sentenced to death by the judicial authorities on charges of "premeditated murder".

So far, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the official authorities or the media inside Iran.

In this regard, also, on the morning of February 1, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner named "Mehdi Azarion" from Urmia was carried out in the central prison of this city.
