The order to arrest the two billion bail of Sadiq Aini, a former political prisoner, was issued by the military court

The first branch of the military court of one of the provinces of West Azerbaijan issued the order to arrest the bail of Sadiq Aini, a former political prisoner from Oshnavieh.

According to a source close to Kurdpa, on December 23, 2023, Aini's family was summoned to the first branch of the military court of one of the provinces of West Azerbaijan and the order to arrest the two billion bail of their son was notified to them.

The source added that the court gave 45 days to the family of this former political prisoner to pay the amount of bail of two billion in this period, otherwise, the bail order will be confiscated.

On July 20, 2021, Sadiq Aini, a Kurdish political prisoner, was released from Ardabil prison on a two billion toman bail and then left Iran.

In February 2018, this political prisoner, who was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment and exile to Ardabil prison by the first branch of the military court of one of the provinces of West Azerbaijan on charges of "spying for one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government", was exiled from Urmia prison to Ardabil prison after the confirmation of this verdict by the Supreme Court.

This citizen was arrested by the intelligence of the Revolutionary Guards on August 12, 2017, and transferred to Urmia prison after the end of the interrogation period.

Sadiq Aini, son of Khalil, born in 1996, is from the village of "Singan" in Oshnavieh.
