Nagadeh Prison; Jamal Alizadeh was sent on leave
On December 11, Jamal Alizadeh, a civil activist from Piranshahr, was sent on leave from Nagadeh Prison.
According to an informed source, this civil activist has been sent on a four-day leave.
This Kurdish civil activist was deprived of access to a lawyer during the judicial process and after the execution of the verdict, the prosecutor of Piranshahr also opposed the appointment of a lawyer for his case.
On August 29, Mr. Alizadeh was transferred to Nagadeh Prison to serve his prison sentence.
This civil activist was sentenced to 30 months in prison by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge "Ajaghlou", on charges of "cooperation with hostile media" in April 2023.
On October 18, 2022, security forces raided Jamal Alizadeh's home and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.
Mr. Alizadeh was transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center for interrogation and was transferred to Nagadeh Prison after the interrogation was completed.
On February 12, 2023, this citizen was temporarily released from Nagadeh Prison until the end of the judicial process by depositing a bail of three billion rials.
