Early on Saturday, December 9, the family of Jina-Mahsa Amini was supposed to travel to France to attend the Sakharov Prize ceremony at the European Parliament, but security forces at Khomeini Airport in Tehran prevented the Amini family from traveling to this country.
According to a source informed to Kurdpa, security forces told Mozhgan Eftekhari, Amjad Amini and Ashkan Amini that they were banned from leaving the country and their passports were confiscated at the airport.
The informed source added: The Amini family was invited by the European Parliament to travel to France.
The source said: Security forces that interrogated the family of Jina-Mahsa Amini for more than an hour at the airport.
The informed source said the flight time of the family of Jina-Mahsa Amini to France was at 2:30 am on Saturday, December 9.
The informed source said that security forces finally allowed Saleh Nikbakht, the lawyer of the family of Jina-Mahsa Amini, to leave and he will represent the Amini family at this ceremony.
The European Parliament awarded the 2023 Prize for Freedom of Thought (Sakharov) to Jina-Mahsa Amini and the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi and the award ceremony will be held next week in Strasbourg, France.
On September 16, 2022, Jina-Mahsa Amini, 22, from Saqqez, who had fallen into a coma as a result of severe beating by the morality police, died at Kasra Hospital in Tehran.
