Oshnavieh; Four Kurdish citizens sentenced to six years and six months in prison
Four Kurdish citizens named "Soleiman Sharvirani", "Aram Shaban", "Abdolkarim Kakool" and "Fakhraddin Poodat" from Oshnavieh were sentenced to six years and six months in prison by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of this city, headed by Judge "Mehdi Rezaei".
The court accused these four citizens of "membership and cooperation with one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government" and based on the verdict issued, Soleiman Sharvirani was sentenced to one year in prison, Aram Shaban to three years and three months in prison, Abdolkarim Kakool to one year in prison and Fakhraddin Poodat to one year and three months in prison.
The verdicts issued against these four citizens were notified to them in the past few days.
Soleiman Sharvirani, son of Ahmad, from "Seyed Abad" Sanandaj, was arrested without a judicial order on July 10, 2023, and was released on bail after completing the interrogation stages.
Aram Shaban was arrested without a judicial order by the security forces on July 10, 2023, and was released from Sanandaj prison on September 3, 2023, on a one billion rial bail.
Abdolkarim Kakool, a citizen of the village of "Hasan Nouran" in Oshnavieh, was arrested without a judicial order at his home by the security forces on July 10, 2023, and was released from Oshnavieh prison on bail after completing the interrogation stages.
Fakhraddin Poodat, from the village of "Batryan" in Oshnavieh, was arrested without a judicial order by the security forces on July 10, 2023, and was released on bail after completing the interrogation stages.
