Khairollah Haqjooyan, a Kurdish Yarsan activist and a former political prisoner, supports Reza Resaei, a prisoner sentenced to death

Khairollah Haqjooyan, a civil activist of Yarsan, has criticized the unjust verdict of the judge, the unfair trial against Mr. Rasaei, and the issuance of arbitrary orders that are the handwriting of security institutions, by publishing a video as the guarantor of Reza Rasaei, while emphasizing the need to break the silence against the issuance of the death sentence against this political prisoner.

This former political prisoner, in another part of his speech, has considered any clarification as disturbing the public mind, and with the defense of his statements; he has considered the events of November 18, 2022, as a scenario for suppressing, hostage-taking, and controlling the community.

This member of the consultative assembly of Yarsan civil activists, referring to the issuance of an unproven verdict against Reza Rasaei regarding his case, says that arbitrary detention, lack of access to a lawyer, lack of access to the file, public opinion engineering, ambiguity of the criteria and evidence, entry of false witnesses as defendants, incitement against each other, and forced confession are among the cases of unfair trial and non-discovery of the truth.

Reza (Gholamreza) Rasaee, a 34-year-old citizen of Yarsan from the city of Sahneh in Kermanshah province, who was arrested during the ceremony commemorating the twenty-first anniversary of the death of Seyyed Khalil Alinejad, one of the leaders of Yarsanis, and in connection with the protests of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi following the government's murder of Jina-Mahsa Amini, has been sentenced to death, paying blood money, one year of imprisonment, and 74 lashes.

Khairollah Haqjooyan, a member of the consultative assembly of Yarsan civil activists, was transferred to Dieselabad prison in Kermanshah to serve his sentence on November 14, 2022, and was released from prison on the fourteenth day of his hunger strike on November 27, 2022. Khairollah Haqjooyan was sentenced by the revolutionary court of Sahneh to one month of imprisonment and 11 months of suspended imprisonment for five years.
