Hero Qadimi, a civil activist, was released on bail

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Hero Qadimi, a well-known civil activist from Saqqez, was temporarily released from the Sanandaj Correction and Rehabilitation Center on bail.

This civil activist had undergone back surgery and was kept in quarantine at the Sanandaj Correction and Rehabilitation Center in an inappropriate place and circumstance.

On September 13, 2023, eight security forces raided her home under the pretext of delivering stationery without presenting a judicial decision and arrested her.

Hero was transferred to quarantine at the Sanandaj Correction and Rehabilitation Center after being arrested and the court had issued a one-month temporary detention order for her.

She is active in the field of children, women, and special patients' rights.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for her arrest and the charges against Ms. Qadimi.
