Abdanan/ Seyed Amirhossein Mousavianzadeh, one of the detainees of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, was sentenced to imprisonment and paying a fine.
Seyed Amirhossein Mousavianzadeh, a Kurdish 19-year-old youth from Abdanan and one of the detainees of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, was sentenced by the second branch of the Revolutionary Court of Ilam to a total of 24 months in prison with the calculation of previous detention days.
According to the verdict issued against this Kurdish youth, he was sentenced to 8 months in prison for "propaganda activities against the system" and to 16 months in prison for "insulting the leader of the Iranian government" and acquitted of "membership in groups opposed to the Iranian government".
According to Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, the most severe punishment will be enforced for Amirhossein.
The court also issued a five-year suspended sentence for 13 months of Amirhossein's imprisonment due to his lack of criminal record and converted another three months of imprisonment to a fine of 30 million Tomans.
This verdict was communicated to this Kurdish youth on October 2, 2023, and in August of this year, a court session was held to investigate his charges in the second branch of the Revolutionary Court of Ilam in Abdanan.
