October 12, 2023; Anniversary of the government killings of Aziz Moradi, Armin Sayadi, Sina Naderi, Kamal Faghihi, and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in Sanandaj, Kermanshah, Boukan and Saqqez

On the 26th day of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi following the government killing of Jina-Mahsa Amini, widespread protests erupted and most of the cities of Kurdistan and Iran were the scene of protests. The Islamic Republic suppressed the protests by firing bullets from the first days and committed the government killing of 38 people in Kurdistan from September 19 to October 12, 2022.

Kurdpa, on the occasion of the anniversary of the government killings of Aziz Moradi, Armin Sayadi, Sina Naderi, Kamal Faghihi, and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, takes a look at how these people were killed by the repressive government forces.

On October 12, 2022, there were also reports of the killing of another Kurdish citizen named "Negin Abdolmaleki", from Qorveh City and a student in Hamedan. Kurdpa considers this killing as one of the suspicious killings that have been carried out by the Islamic Republic until obtaining accurate and verified information based on its criteria.

Sanandaj / Government killing of Aziz Moradi:

On October 12, 2022, Aziz Moradi, from Sanandaj, was severely wounded by a Kalashnikov bullet fired by the repressive government forces from a distance to his thigh and abdomen during the protests in the "Nayser" district and died as a result of severe injuries after being transferred to medical centers.

Aziz Moradi was the owner of Gol-e-Gandom restaurant.

Kermanshah / Government killing of Armin Sayadi, 18 years old:

On October 12, 2022, Armin Sayadi, 18 years old from Kermanshah, was killed by the bullets of the repressive government forces during the protests in this city in the "Dareh-Derij" neighborhood.

Kermanshah / Government killing of Sina Naderi, 22 years old:

On October 12, 2023, Sina Naderi, 22 years old from Kermanshah, was severely wounded by two bullets from behind his head to his right arm and side during the protests in the "Dareh-Derij" neighborhood and died half an hour after being transferred to "Farabi" hospital in Kermanshah.

Later, the body of Sina Naderi was delivered to his family after obtaining a written commitment and paying 30 million tomans by the family. The security agencies threatened his family to prevent them from holding a protest rally at their son's funeral. Finally, the funeral ceremony of Sina was held on October 13, 2022, in the "Dareh-Derijeh" cemetery.

The security agencies threatened the Naderi family several times to remain silent about the death of their child. They also suggested registering Sina in the Shahid Foundation (a governmental foundation Foundation dedicated to the families of martyrs approved by the government.) to the family, but all the demands of the security agencies were rejected.

Sina Naderi was arrested by the security forces two weeks before his death during the protests on Nowbahar Street in Kermanshah and transferred to Diesel Abad prison. He was released a week after his arrest by depositing a bail of 100 million tomans.

Sina Naderi son of Siavash and Sarvnaz, was born on August 8, 2000, in Kermanshah. Before his death, he was learning professional electrician.

Boukan / Government killing of Kamal Faghihi, 46 years old:

On October 12, 2022, Kamal Faghihi, 46 years from Boukan, was targeted by the bullets of the repressive-security forces in the head area on the roof of his house in the "Hasar" area during the protests in this city and was severely wounded. He later died due to the severity of his injuries at "Gholi-Pour" hospital in Boukan. Forensic medicine stated the cause of the death of Kamal Faghihi as "hard object impact".

The funeral ceremony of Kamal Faghih was held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in the cemetery of Boukan City under strict security measures.

Kamal Faghih was an employee of the Bonab thermal power plant.

Saqqez / Government killing of Seyed Mohammad Hosseini:

On October 12, 2022, Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, from Saqqez, was run over twice by a high-speed car of the repressive government forces in Maskan Mehr of Kuhdasht in Saqqez when he protested against the shooting of the security forces towards the people and lost his life instantly.

The body of Seyed Mohammad Hosseini was buried in Saqqez cemetery under strict security measures on October 14, 2022.
