Mahabad/ Arrest of a Kurdish teenager by security forces

On Tuesday evening of October 10, 2023, a Kurdish teenager named "Pouya Khezri" from Mahabad was arrested by security forces.

According to an informed source, security forces raided the home of this teenager's family in the "Pshtap" district of Mahabad without any judicial warrant and arrested him.

This informed source added: This teenager was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia after being arrested for interrogation.
