Piranshahr; Arrest of Hussein Mahmoudpour by Security Forces

Early morning on Tuesday, August 15th, a Kurdish citizen named Hussein Mahmoudpour, 46 years old, from the village of "Gorgol Sofla" in the vicinity of Piranshahr, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to an informed source, security forces stormed the personal residence of this citizen without presenting any judicial warrant and arrested him.

The source added that previously, Mr. Mahmoudpour had been summoned multiple times to the Piranshahr Intelligence Office through phone calls, but he had refrained from visiting the office himself.
