Soleiman Abdi, a member of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union - Saqqez, was arrested

On Sunday, March 19th, Soleiman Abdi, a member of the Kurdistan-Saqqez Teachers Union, was arrested by the security forces and taken to an unknown location.

 The security forces raided the home of this teacher's union activist and arrested him without presenting any court order.

 During the search of this trade union activist's house, the security forces seized his mobile phone and his family members and took them away.

 The security forces also confiscated the laptop of Mr. Abdi's daughter.

 In September 2022, the order prohibiting the prosecution of Soleiman Abdi was issued by the second branch of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Revolutionary court of Saqqez.

 On Wednesday, June 15th, this trade union activist was arrested by the security forces, and on Saturday, June 25th, he was released from Saqqez prison on temporary bail until the end of the proceedings.
